Born in Fukuoka in 1985 and raised in Kumamoto, he spent his student years immersed in band activities, captivated by the joy and depth of expression through music—an experience that later became the foundation for his photographic work. After working at a photography studio from the age of 20, he became an independent freelance photographer in 2014. He now primarily works in commercial photography, with a particular passion for portraiture. Even when photographing landscapes or objects, he strives to convey a sense of human presence and narrative within the image. I point my lens out of a strong desire to cherish the "now," by being aware of what is seen and unseen, and of the inevitable death that will one day come. The moment I deny the answers within myself and accept my negative self is, for me, "love." It is as if I continuously take photographs in pursuit of that "love." 

1985年、福岡県に生まれ、熊本で育つ。学生時代はバンド活動に熱中し、音楽を通して表現する喜びと奥深さを知る。その経験が後の写真活動の伏線となる。20歳から写真スタジオに勤務したのち、2014年にフリーランスフォトグラファーとして独立。現在は広告写真をメインに活動し、特にポートレートを得意とする。

熊本を拠点に広告・コマーシャルフォトを中心に10年以上のキャリアを持つフォトグラファー。人工物のテクスチャ、光と影の静謐なコントラスト、自由で身軽な視点から生まれる独自の空気感を追求する。 2016年よりスタジオを設立。ビコルト合同会社代表。
